23/09/17 - How I Got In Shape
So, for many years I was overweight. One I day I decided that enough was enough. I started off pretty lazy with one of those ab belts (http://powerliftingbelts.org/best-ab-belt/) so that I could get a workout while sitting on the sofa. Boy that was stupid!! While I was probably building sweet abdominals, the problem was probably that they were covered in a very thick layer of fat. I think a lot of people have this problem. The fact is, I did my research (which most people don't do) to find out what the heck was going on.
But by the time I worked out what I needed to do, I had already wasted a few weeks trying results the lazy way. So I set a bunch of goals following some simple rules (https://www.acefitness.org/acefit/fitness-fact-article/3575/a-smart-guide-to-goal-setting/) and stuck to them. I promised myself that I would not fail!
Well, I am not 3 weeks into this and I feel great and am getting superb results. I am going to stick to this!! And of course I wil be updating this blog with my progress....
